How Your Data is Handled
VahanScan is an offline-first diagnostic app. The vast majority of diagnostic data (OBD-II logs, saved DTC reports, and paired Bluetooth dongles) is stored locally on your Android device.
Local Data: Cleared immediately via Android device settings or in-app reset.
Remote Support Data: Deleted within 24 to 48 hours upon form submission.
Instant Method (On Your Device)
Delete All Local Diagnostic Data Instantly
- Open Android Settings > Apps.
- Select VahanScan.
- Tap Storage & Cache.
- Tap “Clear Storage” (or “Clear Data”).
- All local vehicle history, telemetry logs, and paired dongles will be permanently erased.
Data Retention Timeline
Any support requests, diagnostic log attachments, or feedback submitted to Ltrands Technologies Private Limited will be purged permanently from our email servers within 48 hours of confirmation.
