- 12V DC Battery supply to Fuel Pump relay & 5.0V to Rail Pressure Sensor

- FRP Sensor Signal: 0.5V (Key ON) -> 1.2V – 1.6V (Idle 300 bar) -> 3.8V+ (1600 bar)
- Ground Pin Continuity
- Chassis ground / Pump ground (< 0.2 Ω)
- Coil / Heater Resistance
- Fuel Pump Motor: 1.5 Ω – 3.5 Ω across terminals
💡 If pump current draw exceeds 7 Amps, pump motor is seized or restricted.
Fault Symptoms

Step-by-Step Repair Guide
- 1.1. Connect mechanical fuel pressure gauge: BS6 Bike/Petrol car must maintain 3.0 - 3.5 bar (45-50 PSI).
- 2.2. On CRDI Diesel / Truck: Rail pressure at idle must be 250 - 350 bar, rising to 1400+ bar under load.
- 3.3. Measure 12V supply to in-tank fuel pump relay on key ON for 3 seconds prime cycle.
- 4.4. Measure FRP sensor: 5V power, 0.5V at 0 bar, ~1.3V at idle rail pressure.
- 5.5. Clean or replace fuel filter and SCV valve, then bleed system using VahanScan.
