Step-by-Step Repair Guide
- 1.1. Remove DEF injector; soak nozzle in warm water (60°C) to dissolve urea crystals.
- 2.2. Use optical refractometer to test DEF urea concentration (must be exactly 32.5% ± 0.7%).
- 3.3. Measure 24V supply voltage at NOx sensor module connector (Pins 1 & 2).
- 4.4. Check CAN-High (2.7V) and CAN-Low (2.3V) signals at NOx sensor pins 3 & 4.
- 5.5. Perform SCR efficiency self-test with VahanScan and clear active J1939 faults.
